Core elements of the technical curriculum build upon well established and recognised certification programmes such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from (ISC)2, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and CHFI (Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator) from the EC-Council. The Programme
The MSc takes an interdisciplinary approach to cyber security combining eight taught modules from ICT Focus,Computing, Law and Criminology and a research disertation. Current module titles are:

- Information System Penetration and Countermeasures,
- Information System Forensic Investigation,
- Information System Risk Management,
- Cybercrime,
- Introduction to Law for Cyber Security Specialists,
- Network and Systems Security,
- Crime and Criminal Behaviour
