What is EC-Council?

The International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) is a member supported professional organization. The purpose of the EC-Council is to support and enhance the role of individuals and organizations who design, create, manage or market Security and E-Business solutions. We support our members by providing Electronic Commerce Consultant certification as well as educational, technical, placement, member advantage, and discounted services. We enhance our membership by providing a community where discussion and information exchange can operate freely in the context of mutual trust and benefit.

NSA Certified Security Course

EC-Council has also had its Network Security Administrator (ENSA) course certified as meeting the National Training Standard for Information Security Proffessionals, CNSS 4011,by the Unitied States National Security Agency. The certification places ENSA at the same level as courses offered by the United States Air Force Academy, United States Military Academy, Air Force Insitute of Technology and Carnegie Mellon University all of whom have attained CNSS 4011 certification.

Licensed Penetration Tester

EC-Council's Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) is a natural evolution and extended value addition to its series of security related professional certifications. The Licensed Penetration Tester standardizes the knowledge base for penetration testing professionals by incorporating the best practices followed by experienced experts in the field.

Requirements

• Achieve Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification.
• Achieve EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) certification.
• Complete LPT Application Criteria, including a criminal background check
