Email at Lancaster University

At Lancaster University: all staff are entitled to a Microsoft Exchange email account, while 'student email' is provided by a dedicated mailserver.

WARNING - never EVER answer email requests for your password. Do NOT respond to any request for your password, even if the requesting email appears to come from ISS, the University, your Bank, the Internal Revenue or the Queen.

Using Email at Lancaster University 

	Student Mail - Webmail to access Unix mail.		Staff Mail (& most Postgrads) - Outlook 200x to access Microsoft Exchange.
	Push Email - on a mobile device.

...with the following exceptions:

• All staff can also, optionally, use Webmail to access a Unix account.
• Staff in 'Computing' use a separate Unix mail system.
• Post Graduate Researchers are entitled to use Outlook and Exchange.

New Users 

New students and staff must register for email:

• Students should click Student Email Registration to register for email.
• Staff should ring ISS Service Desk on x10987 to register for email.
