A number of email distribution lists called 'majordomo' lists are available:

Attachments - Banned File Types
Everyone is allowed 'attach' documents and images to email messages.
However, to prevent viruses from spreading on campus, many 'executable' attachments are
banned from passing through the mail hub. The messages containing attachments with banned
three letter extensions are deleted and not sent.
