There are restrictions on the size of your mailbox because the size of the mail servers is finite. ISS will increase the size of the servers (and quotas) when it is practical to do so.

Microsoft Exchange is the main email system used by staff, who usually access it using Outlook 2003

Live@ Edu Quotas

Each Live@edu mail user has the following quota limits:

• 10Gb - capacity limit of email storage.  If you exceed this quota you will not be able to send any messages until you reduce your storage.
• 25Mb - limit on the size of an email including attachments to an email (this applies to both messages being sent and messages received).
