ISS Service Desk

ISS Service Desk (ext 10987) has been a feature of ISS services since 1995 and is currently located in the Learning Zone on Alexandra Square. The ISS Service Desk provides assistance with software installation and ongoing support, advice and training related to desk top computer usage.

The ISS Service Desk opening hours are:

  • 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday (excl Public & University holidays)

Closed all day Saturday & Sunday


At Risk Periods

  • 7am - 9am on Tuesdays - 'Network at Risk' for UKERNA (JANET)
  • 7am - 10am on Tuesdays - 'Network at Risk' for the University network
  • 1pm - 6pm on Wednesdays - 'Systems at Risk' for any University central server which could be taken down for maintenance
