The problems affecting the top-up of print credits has now been fixed.
Thursday 23 June 2005 - Web Server & Print Credits
There was a temporary problem with the web server www.lancs.ac.uk earlier this morning. This resulted in some personal web pages being unavailable, and some users being unable to make changes to departmental web pages. Availability of departmental web pages was not affected. The problem has now been fixed.
Users are still unable to top-up their print credits.
Wednesday 22 June 2005 - Maintenance on Central-files filestore & Exchange Email servers
Scheduled maintenance for the installation of critical service patches: the service on central-files and Exchange Email was intermittent between 13:00-16:00.
There is an outstanding problem with the printing service, affecting the top-up of print credits.

The firmware on two core routers connecting the campus network to JANET was upgraded during the 'network at risk' period. All offsite connectivity was affected during this period, and for a short period some users found they had general connectivity problems. The general connectivity problem was found to be a configuration issue and was rectified quickly.

Wednesday 01 June 2005 - Power Failure
A power failure in the main ISS machine room led to a number of services becoming unavailable. The electrical fault was rectified as soon as possible and all systems fully restored.
