Tuesday 26 July 2005 - Roll out of Windows XP Service Pack 2

ISS commenced the rollout of Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 to all Windows XP PCs at 10am. This process will enhance the security of Windows XP.

The SP2 upgrade process is automatic and silent. When the SP2 upgrade has finished, users are asked to restart their PC. After the PC has been restarted no further action is required.
