*Christmas Hoax Emails*

Christmas is a high-risk time for viruses, phishing and virus hoaxes. Perhaps this is because there are a lot of unusual Christmas emails circulating, or because 'Service Desks' close down. **Or perhaps it is because virus writers and hoaxers love to give at this time of year**

The viruses will probably be much as usual - and arrive in attachments and dodgy email links. Email hoaxes take the form of: warnings (claiming to be from Microsoft or AOL) about destructive viruses, but be wary of ANY MAIL that uses all CAPS and advises you to mail 'all your friends/contacts'.
