Network Disruption

Brief interruptions to the network were experienced by users in the Library and Furness College whilst maintenance work was carried out.
Work commenced at 07:30 and was complete by 08:30.

Bank Holiday Weekend - All systems ran without problems.

Fri 27 May - All systems ran without problems.

Thu 26 May - All systems ran without problems.

Wed 25 May - All systems ran without problems.

Flash Media Server

Streaming Server Unavailable due to Routine Maintenance

The Flash Media Streaming server was unavailable between 2pm and 3pm whilst routine maintenance was carried out. This affected video playback in LUVLE and on some departmental webpages.

• Management School

ResNet connectivity was interrupted between 06:30 and 09:00 whilst this work was carried out.

Essential network maintenance was undertaken in the following areas of campus:

• Haverthwaite residences

ResNet connectivity was interrupted between 07:00 and 09:00 whilst this work was carried out.

Network Unavailability

• The network in County South Residences was unavailable for approximately 15 minutes this morning whilst essential maintenance was undertaken.

Wed 04 May - Emergency network maintenance in LEC, LUMS and FASS.

Emergency maintenance work was undertaken on essential network equipment affecting the some areas of LEC, LUMS and FASS. The work was successfully undertaken between 06:00 and 07:00.

Tue 03 May - Localised network problems.

Part of LUMS and County South experienced network connectivity problems. These were quickly resolved.
