Connecting to Campus printers from a Mac

This page tells you how to connect to an ISS network printer from an Apple Macintosh computer. This page will be of interest to Mac users in offices who want a back-up printer and Mac laptop users who wouold like to print over the WiFi network.

Currently there is one ISS Network printer available - the HP LaserJet 4350 (A4 B/W) which is located on A Floor in the Library.


You will need:

  • your Mac running OS X Lion, Leopard or Snow Leopard.
  • a connection to the University Windows network e.g. WiNet.

Connecting Your Mac to an ISS Network Printer

Assuming that you are on campus with your Mac which is connected directly or by WiFi to the campus network - this is what you do:
