PASS (Permissive Access Security System) is being rollout across campus. This page reports the progress of the rollout of PASS.
PASS
PASS (Permissive Access Security System) is a facility operated by ISS (Information Systems Services). It controls access to the University's wired data network in better and more secure ways for both the user and ISS. It also gives you the possibility of remotely starting up your desktop and allows members of staff to authorise visitor computers to use the university network for short periods of time. More details of PASS and it’s benefits can be found at https://pass.lancs.ac.uk/pass/whatisit/.
