Introduction
You can connect to any University server for which you have 'permissions'. You will asked for your username and password for each server that you connect to because you are not using a fully validated PC. You can use connected servers as though you are on campus (although somewhat slower, depending on your ISP connection speed).
Connecting to Your Personal Filestore (H: Drive)
What is my personal filestore? For many people the most useful server to connect is the server containing your personal filestore (H: drive). For technical reasons, connecting to the H: drive is a little more complicated over VPN than on campus.
