Portable Video Conferencing

ISS have a portable video conferencing unit in FASS, LUMS, LEC and University House. The units comprise of a 40" or 42" Plasma TV, a Tandberg C20 high definition video conferencing unit and connections for a laptop or PC. The equipment is mounted on a trolley and it can be used in any room with sufficient power and network sockets.

The units are suitable for interviews, seminars, meetings or remote teaching

Bookings

Booking should be arranged at least a week in advance to ensure the equipment is available and to allow time for test calls. Contact the ISS Service Desk on ext 10987 to request a booking.

Costs

There is no charge for the use of the equipment by a member of staff.

Hours

The equipment is available during normal working hours, Monday to Friday. There is currently no out of hours support
