Recommended Versions of Windows

ISS recommends Windows 7 and specifically the Managed Windows 7 System for new PCs. More information about Microsoft Windows can be found on the Microsoft Windows at Lancaster University web page.

Staff can buy a new machine with another Windows operating system installed, which is cheaper, and then have it upgraded via the Campus Agreement.

Prices should include at least 3 Year On-Site maintenance and delivery
