Deployment Update
The deployment of MS Windows 7 to PC desktops on campus has begun and all ISS PC labs were upgraded during Summer 2010 (see below).
Current plans for teaching spaces such as seminar rooms and lecture theatres with ISS administered PC’s are for Summer 2011.
The timetable for individual staff machines will be determined by your local IT support. Upgrading machines can be time consuming in order to ensure that all data, software and settings are transferred. Your local IT support staff will be best placed to advise you as to what arrangements are in place to upgrade your machine.

Application Deployment and Compatibility Issues
Lists of software being tested prior to deployment for the new Windows 7 Managed Build in the ISS PC Labs:
- ISS Core Application Deployment List - core list of applications to be deployed to ISS PC Labs running the Windows 7 build. This software will be packaged and tested by ISS.
