IT Workshops and Courses
ISS offer a range of Free IT training sessions that are designed to help you develop the IT skills that you'll need at University.
- IT Training – Sessions in Summer Term 2012: session details, dates, times and location
- Register interest: Lancaster University email address only
Register your interest for a session. If there is sufficient interest the session will go ahead and you will be emailed confirmation of your place in due course. Taking into account any previous non-attendance record, registered interest will be prioritised and places confirmed accordingly.
If you do not receive a confirmation email please do not attend.
Please make sure you are available to attend the session before registering your interest.
IT guides
Downloadable study guides and workbooks accompany ISS IT training courses for Office 2007. They can be used for self-study and can be accessed from campus machines only.

E-learning
E-learning resources are available for Microsoft Windows 7, Office 2007, Office 2010 and Office 2011 for Mac applications. No need to register, use them straight away.
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certifications
Students have the opportunity to self study and take exams to obtain Microsoft Certifications in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook modules for Office 2007 and 2010.
