The Lancaster University Africa Research Hub is inviting members of staff to register to attend the launch event of the Hub, taking place on Thursday 9 May, 9.30am-1.30pm, George Fox LT5.

This in-person launch event offers an opportunity for networking, to share work with colleagues, and to provide a platform for discussion. The aim of the hub is to foster an environment for enabling collaborative work between colleagues at Lancaster and African scholars and institutions.

Speakers from varied disciplines and academic backgrounds are invited to present their work and their ideas, followed by discussions and networking.

The call for presenters is now open: Presentations can be in the form of 10min flash talk or poster on your work. Please contact Dr Zanele Nyoni-Wood (z.nyoni-wood@lancaster.ac.uk) and Dr Yakubu Salifu (y.salifu@lancaster.ac.uk) to submit your presentation/poster idea.

Deadline for registering attendance and submission of presentation/poster is Thursday 4 April.
