University Catering Outlets

The Live at LICA Cafe / Bar is open between 11am and 4pm Monday to Friday and one hour before performances during each season with a range of Atkinson’s finest fair-trade tea and coffee, and cake supplied by The Ginger Bakers of Kendal. The bar also boasts an impressive selection of locally brewed bottled beers, wines, lagers, ciders and spirits.

Café 21 is open between 8.30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, serving speciality hot dishes of the day, baguettes and homemade soups. Juices, drinks and healthy snacks are also available along with Fairtrade speciality coffees straight from the bean, Twining fruit teas and a limited range of alcohol.

Refuel @ Café Twenty Ten is open between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, and serves breakfast until 11am. Lunch is served from 12pm to 2pm and supper is served 5pm to 8pm. At the weekends the café is open from 9am to 8pm, with healthy and Full English breakfasts served until 2pm while supper is served 5pm to 8pm. Refuel serveshealthy breakfasts, hot and cold meals alongside a salad bar, a ‘grab and go’ range and a selection of juices, smoothies and nutritious snacks.

The Venue is open between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, serving coffee and sandwiches, a selection of hot dishes, baked potatoes and quality soupsall to be either eaten in or taken-away. This coffee house provides a popular meeting and dining area for students, staff and visitors alike.

The Hub Café is open between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, serving hot and cold sandwiches, snacks and beverages.

Fylde Coffee Shop is open between 8.30am and 8pm, serving soups, paninis, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and toasties alongside a range of refreshments.

Barker House Farm is open between 8am and 8pm throughout the week, with breakfast served until 11am, and the College bar is open from 12pm for food. At the weekends Barker House Farm is open from 9am until 2pm, serving all day breakfasts for just £3.50, and opens again between 5pm and 8pm for evening meals.

There are also nine bars across campus – one in each college.

For staff members and visiting academics, The Lounge and the Private Dining Rooms are both located on the ground floor of County South and are open during term time. The Lounge is open between 9.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday, serving a range of speciality coffees from Atkinson's along with Hot Chocolate and a selection of teas.

The campus is also home to both Diggles and Greggs bakeries, Pizzetta Republic, Atkinsons Fish and Chip Shop, The Sultan Indian Restaurant, Wong’s Chinese Restaurant, the Wibbly Wobbly Burger Bar – and even an ice cream parlour!
