IntroductionI am a current PhD student in the STOR-i DTC programme at Lancaster University. My work is in the extreme value analysis of ocean waves and the use of approximation methods for estimating spatial and temporal model parameters with reduced computational costs. My academic supervisors are Professor Paul Fearnhead and Professor Jonathan Tawn. The project is in collaberation with Shell Statistics & Chemometrics Research and my industrial supervisor is Dr Philip Jonathan. |
