Welcome to my academic homepage. I am a lecturer in statistics at Lancaster University. I research statistical methods and applications in health and medicine; in particular:


  • Pre-clinical and early phase drug development
  • Mixture models
  • Survival analysis
  • Simulation
  • Sparse methods in high dimensions
  • Epidemiology

I hold an honorary research fellowship at the University of Manchester, and collaborate closely with NIBHI (Northwest Institute for Biohealth Informatics).


I am part of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Statistics (MPS) Research Unit.


I am also linked with STOR-i, the statistics and operational research doctoral training centre at Lancaster.
