IGA 2003 - Rostock - October 12th, 2003
22 nations from 4 continents took part in IGA-Rostock 2003, International Gardening Exhibition. One of the country took part was Indonesia. It created a garden with a theme of “Colors of Indonesia”.
As one of the means to also promote Indonesian culture, some traditional performances were conducted daily in the exhibition, in the middle of each garden. Angklung-Orchester Hamburg was invited to perform in front of the visitors of the exhibition, the committee and Indonesian community who live in Rostock, in the closing day of the exhibition.
Most of the songs performed in the event are traditional Indonesian songs from different part of the countries, as well as some Indonesian pop hits.
