General Information
The remit of the International Office is to develop and implement the University’s overall international policy. Staff in the International Office maintain a network of strategic partnerships in target markets, represent Lancaster University at a wide range of overseas recruitment events, manage and develop overseas collaborative programmes, manage and develop study abroad and exchange programmes, undertake market research and produce communications and promotional materials.
The International Office has the following areas of responsibility:
- International liaison and recruitment including the development and maintenance of key recruitment markets
- Supporting new market development
- Development of and liaison with the network of overseas university representatives
- Hosting visits from partner institutions, overseas officials, university representatives, embassies etc
- Programme identification and development with partner institutions overseas
- Promotion, management and development of the Study Abroad and Exchange programmes, including the Erasmus programme
