Corporate Information Systems (CIS) is responsible for the development, integration and support of institution-wide applications, web services and portal development, and provides high quality process support for staff and students alike. ISS supports a mix of vendor-supplied systems and in-house developed applications; the large Student Administration system is developed in-house.
The following sections are within CIS:
- CIS Academic – responsible for student information (LUSI), timetable information and admissions applications.
- CIS Resources – responsible for finance, HR and facilities management applications.
- CIS Database Systems – responsible for business intelligence and database administration.
- Learning Technology Group (LTG) – responsible for the virtual learning environment and related teaching and learning applications.
