Research & Enterprise Services (RES) is the central body in Lancaster University for:
- Supporting our strategic partnerships with companies and other bodies involved in research and teaching projects
- A range of business & community support, consultancy and student/graduate placement programmes
- Advising on, reviewing and writing contracts
- Advising on, reviewing and administering research proposals
- Commercialising University intellectual property by licensing and spinouts
- Supporting business-focussed accommodation on campus
- Operating knowledge transfer programmes
- The Centre for Employability Enterprise and Careers
- NWDA Innovation Vouchers
We also promote local regeneration through the ERDF-supported scheme Lancaster Business Creation 2
