Events on Campus

Lancaster’s Annual Careers Fair

Taking a stand at our Career Opportunities jobs fair in late October generates maximum publicity for your organisation and job vacancies.

Approximately 3,000 students attend this high profile event annually.

This makes the event the largest independent career fair in the UK!

Ask for our Career Opportunities sheet for more information or visit our Careers Fair Website.

Visiting Employers' Programme

If you’d prefer to hire a venue on campus to present information on job opportunities with your organisation, we can arrange this for you as part of our Visiting Employers' Programme.

We will make all arrangements regarding room hire, refreshments, publicity and student sign-up’s.

There is a small charge for this service.

Directions Programme

The Directions Programme introduces our pre-final year students them to the wide range of career paths open to them and highlights the skills they will need to succeed.

Participating employers deliver Information Sessions on specific occupations and Skills Workshops e.g. team building; communications; leadership; problem solving.

They tell us they value the opportunity to meet with bright, enthusiastic undergraduates, of whom over 800  took part in the Directions Programme last year.

Taking part also raises the profile of your organisation within the university as each of our 2,000 Second Year students receives a copy of the programme, which includes details of all the participating employers.
