Finding out about careers

Whether you are thinking about going into work or thinking about further study, CEEC has all the information you need to make the right choice for you.  Our Learner Resource Centre holds details of 100’s of occupations and courses and 1000s of employers and vacancies.

If you’re unsure where to start, come in to see an Adviser or take a look at our guide to choosing a career. Or use Prospects Planner, the number 1 job exploration tool for higher education students and graduates which is fully supported by UK career services.

Others ways to find out about careers include looking at details of careers with your degree subject, getting advice from recent Lancaster graduates in CareerTalk and finding out how to make best use of your own networks.
You can also find out about careers straight from employers themselves by coming along to workshops on our Directions programme.

And if you’re thinking about self-employment we can help with that too.
