Job Search UK - explore types of jobs

To help you make an informed career choice, Careers Advisors from all UK universities compile comprehensive profiles on hundreds of jobs and occupations throughout the job market. These profiles are posted on the Prospects graduate careers site and the entire database can be searched here.

 

Each profile includes the following information:

  • Job description and activities - A basic overview of what the job involves.
  • Salary and conditions - What level of pay and working conditions you can expect and how this develops as you gain experience in the job.
  • Entry requirements - Details of the training and qualifications you'd need to enter the job.
  • Training - Information about the training you'll receive once in the job and whether any graduate programmes are offered.
  • Career development - Find out what your expected career path will be like in the job.
