Directions programme

The Directions Programme is a series of FREE careers talks and workshops that run through Michaelmas and the Lent Term. Whilst anyone can attend these events, 2nd year / penultimate students are advised to take a particular interest in these workshops in order to narrow down their choice of career occupations they are interested in.

The talks cover a wide range of career ideas which include working for UNICEF, to careers in Advertising, Human Resources, Radio Production and Working With Young Offenders. One of the best things about these talks is that they are given by people who are actually out there, doing this type of work now, so they can offer you up to date hints and tips about how you could enter these professions. All the talks are informal, they last for about an hour and will offer plenty of opportunities for you to ask any questions you may have.
