Academic IssuesStudents often need to adjust to a new style of learning when arriving or returning to University. There are many academic issues that students may seek help with. These can include, concerns about being effective and able to manage a new learning style, procrastination, presentations, time management etc. Concerns about academic issues are quite normal to have, the university's effective learning has resources on line and appointments. For help and advice re: Dyslexia support see effective learning and disability services. Helping students find ways of relaxing, and dealing with exam anxiety, confidence, and looking at options open to them is part of what counselling offers. In conjunction with Student services (link to SW). We offer a number of groups which we hope compliment these other services and enable students to share concerns together. What next?? Counselling may also help you think about and talk through options available to you when graduating and life/work situations. Specialised help regarding careers, cv's and interviews/presentations can be found via CEEC.
