Customer Service Excellence
Professional Services (formerly Central Services) at Lancaster University was awarded the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) standard in February 2012. CSE is a Government standard which shows that a service area has been independently assessed and validated as achieving excellence in customer service. As well as providing validation of achievement, CSE aims to drive continuous service improvement, and supports staff in developing their customer-focused skills to build capacity for delivering improved services. In February 2013, Professional Services achieved a positive outcome to an assessment (First Surveillance) of its progress since the award of the CSE standard.
