Disability Service Homepage

Disability Support is part of Student Wellbeing Services. The University has been developing services for students in this area for over 20 years and aims to help all prospective and current students who have a disability.

We provide information and advice on:

  • Planning for university life and study
  • Disability Policy
  • Dyslexia tuition and study support
  • Accessibility issues
  • Disabled student allowances and other funding
  • Adapted exams
  • Assessment centre
  • Study aids and strategies assessments

We work alongside disabled students from the first enquiry or visit before students arrive, through their course and on to the job application process. We also co-ordinate developments across the University to enable teaching and other staff to think around all kinds of accessibility issues. We aim to go on reviewing and improving what we do and hope you find this section of our website useful.
