Emergency Loans
Student Funding Service We may be able to offer an emergency loan to UK home students in financial difficulty where students have no alternative source of funds and are:- a) experiencing delays with their government funding (new and continuing students) or

Colleges Your college office may be able to offer an emergency loan (£50-£100) from college funds if you are in financial difficulty. Please note loans are not provided at the same time from both sources. Please contact your College Administrator.
Repayment of loans Loans need to be repaid by the due date stated on the loan agreement you sign. If you cannot repay then you should contact the relevant office in advance of the repayment date and explain the reasons for non payment. Loans which are not cleared at the year end will always prevent re-enrolement / graduation. You can repay your loan by telephone with a debit card.
