Healthcare - Homepage

Students enjoy excellent health services with a GP practice and private dental practice. There are a range of alternative medical healthcare treatments also available through the chaplaincy centre. A pharmacy, located alongside the dentist, at Bailrigg house can dispense medication to students, avoiding a trip into town. For a campus map see: www.lancs.ac.uk/travel/maps.htm

The costs of most healthcare should be free to students - for information see 'healthcare costs' from the menu.

Students whose academic work is affected by ill health will need to supply evidence, in the form of a self-certificate, to their department. See 'self certficate' from the menu.

The University has a policy on mental health which can be accessed under 'University Policy'.
