Out of Hours Help
BAYCARE
Bay Urgent Care provides Out of Hours urgent care to temporary or permanent residents of Lancaster, Morecambe, Carnforth and the surrounding area. Please call us if your own surgery is closed and you cannot wait until your surgery opens to seek urgent medical attention.
If you are a student at the University please contact Security on extension 94541 or 444 to arrange free (taxi) travel if you are asked to attend an out of hours clinic by the Bay Urgent Care doctor.
If the situation is immediately or potentially life-threatening please call 999 and ask for an ambulance. Examples of some life threatening conditions are chest pain; loss of consciousness; breathing difficulties; and severe loss of blood. If you do call 999 please also alert security as soon as is practically possible to seek support on extension 94541 or 444.
