INTRO WEEK, ORIENTATION AND REGISTRATIONIntro WeekIf you are going to study a taught programme that begins in October, the week before your course starts will be Intro Week. There will be lots of opportunities to join clubs and societies and meet other students and staff.
International Students Evening, Wednesday 2nd October 2013 19:30-22:30 in The Great Hall. Welcome speeches from University Leadership followed by entertaining demonstrations from some of the University’s clubs and societies

RegistrationRegistration is the process by which an applicant who has accepted an offer of a place formally becomes a student at Lancaster University.
Registration must be completed to receive full access to IT and Library resources. You will receive an email containing more information about registration and the login details you need to complete online pre-registration at https://mylusi.lancs.ac.uk/PreRegistration
It is especially important to register if you are an international student, because if you don’t register we will report this to the Home Office and they will curtail (cancel) your leave to remain and you will have to leave the UK. When you go to register, take the following with you:

Police RegistrationIf you are a national of one of the countries listed below you will need to register with the police when you arrive at the UK. Afghanistan, Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon For your convenience we have invited the police to your registration event so that you can register with the police when you register with the University. You will need to bring with you:
If you are unable to attend your scheduled session you must register with the police at the local police station within 7 days of your arrival in the UK. Please note that if you change your address during your studies, you need to inform the police of this. The location of the nearest police station is in Thurnham Street in the city centre. Postcode for online map or satellite navigation purposes is LA1 1YB.
