The International Women’s Group
The International Women’s Group (IWG) provides a place for the wives and partners of international students to meet and make friends with women from a variety of different nationalities and cultures. It is a place where women can share their ideas, concerns and experiences of life in Lancaster. It is also a good place to practice English and learn more about the UK and its culture. During michaelmas term this group will be meeting every Thursday for 5 weeks from 10th November until 8th December. The meetings will be in the Anglican Flat in the Chaplaincy Centre from 1pm until 2.30pm. Preschool children are welcome with their mothers. For further information, please contact Kirsty Ibbitson on k.ibbitson@lancaster.ac.uk or call 01524 594619.
