Mature Students
Student Based Services provides information, advice and guidance to all students, while recognising that mature students can face significant additional challenges. The University provides a range of services, facilities, and support, for details please browse the menu. We welcome applications from people who, regardless of their age, can demonstrate the same academic potential as applicants with conventional qualifications for admission. On average between 7-10% of our students are aged 21 or over on entry. We do not necessarily expect mature applicants to have the same qualifications as school leavers however they must normally show evidence of recent academic study, for example an access course. Relevant work or other experience can also be taken into account. For information and advice as to whether your qualifications and experience can be considered for admission, please contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office on 01524 (5)92028.
Student Wellbeing Services help the Mature Society publicise events through emails and listing their facebook group - see the menu.
