What we offer

 

The student mental health and wellbeing advisors offer:

  • support to students experiencing mental health problems, to assist them in in reaching their full academic potential whilst at Lancaster University
  • a confidential self referral form under quick links
  • the opportunity to talk through your concerns regarding your own, a colleagues or a friends mental health
  • information about mental health support, both internal and external
  • a range of publications on mental health issues
  • assessment of your needs to allow appropriate adjustments to your study arrangements. This could involve informing tutors and examination office of any recommendations
  • time limited self help interventions for anxiety/panic, depression and self esteem issues, on both a group and individual basis. See LINK for dates and times of mental health workshops.
