Mission Statement

Our mission:

To provide excellent services to students (and staff) that are guided by a commitment to continuous improvement and the development of a leading-edge, student informed provision that positively encourages self-reliance, aids recruitment, facilitates retention and progression and enhances the student experience at Lancaster.

Student Services:

• delivers a readily accessible, high quality support and guidance service for all students; which offers a positive contribution to the student experience, assists recruitment and aids retention;
  
  
• provides an advisory service to departments and colleges on support issues;
  
  
• ensures effective co-ordination of welfare activities;
  
  
• develops University policy on the provision of student services.
