Tuition Fee Update
Further to the announcement that Lancaster University will be charging tuition fees of £9,000.00 from 2012/13, we would like to advise you of the implications for current UK/EU undergraduate students studying at the university.
Current undergraduate students and students who commence their studies in October 2011, will not be liable to pay the £9,000.00 tuition fee in the 2012/13 academic session. Although tuition fees will increase, as they do each academic year, current students will be charged a separate fee based on the pre-2012 rates. The specific fee should be announced in the Spring of 2012, and students are encouraged to check here for updates.
Should a current student withdraw from their registration and seek re-admission in the 2012/13 session or re-start their first year after a period of intercalation, they will be treated as a new student and, as such will be charged the 2012/13 rate.
If you are registered on a 3 year course with a 4 year variant and decide to change to the 4 year version, this will be treated as a continuation and not a new registration.
