Faculty staff attending the Plenary on Wednesday 1 March were presented with an overview of the methodology used in producing RAE quality profiles delivered by Associate Dean for Research Colin Lambert. Colin's talk covered issues to be addressed in optimising the outcome of RAE2008. Additional information on the RAE is available from the Research Support Office or from departmental Research Committee representatives.

The inaugural Lancaster Ideas Festival will be held this Friday at the Leadership Centre, offering the chance to hear short illustrated presentations by professorial staff including several from the Faculty of Science and Technology. Admission is free, and all are invited.
