DESCRIPTION:An International Conference aimed at scientists, policy makers, farmers and land managers. Jointly hosted by the Irish Agricultural Catchments Programme (Teagasc / DAFF) and the UK Demonstration Test Catchment Projects (Defra / EA)\n\nOrganised by Professor Phil Haygarth (Lancaster Environment Centre), Phil Jordan and Ger Shortle (Teagasc, Ireland) and Bob Harris (Defra)\n\nThis conference will bring together international experts to address the questions:\n\n• Can we manage agricultural catchments for economic and environmental objectives?\n\n• Where are we seeing successes and why?\n\n\n&nbsp;These questions will be explored in four themes:\n\nScale issues - networks, observatories and farms.
