SUMMARY:TR&DE Launch Event
DESCRIPTION:The new TR&DE Programme aims to provide intensive, specialist support to Northwest-based businesses to develop R&D and commercial potential.\n\nThe Programme is to be delivered in partnership by Grant Thornton and EV, on behalf of UK Trade & Investment and is being funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency with the European Regional Development Fund.\n\nThe Programme will not only offer participants valuable one-to-one support and advice from the teams at Grant Thornton and EV, but also up to £3,000 in matched funding to implement a tailored programme to assist in the development of the company's individual needs and aspirations. \nTo hear more about the Programme and how it can help the early stage North West businesses that you work with, you are invited to attend the launch event being held on 16 March 2011 at the Daresbury Innovation Centre.\n\nRegistration will be from 8am with the presentation from the Programme team commencing at 8.30am. The event is expected to finish by no later than 9.30am.\n\nTo register to attend, please email Deborah Moon at EV at dm@evgroup.uk.com or call 0845 094 8886. \n\nPlease note that places at the event are strictly limited so please register early to avoid disappointment.\n\nDirections\nFrom the M6\nExit the M6 at Junction 20a and join the M56 towards Chester. At Junction 11 exit the M56 and at the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A56 Chester Road, signposted Warrington.\n\nAt the first set of traffic lights turn left onto the A558 (Daresbury Expressway) and at the roundabout take the first exit, signposted 'Daresbury Science & Innovation Campus'. Take the second exit at the next roundabout on to Keckwick Lane. Daresbury Innovation Centre is situated on the right hand side opposite Daresbury Laboratory.\n\nFrom Warrington\n\nLeave Warringon on the A57, A49 and A5060 towards Chester. Just after crossing the Manchester Ship Canal bear left onto the A56 towards Daresbury. After 3km, whilst approaching the traffic lights, take the right hand lane, turn right onto the A558 Daresbury Expressway and follow the directions as for the M6 (above).
