Bringing together the Computing Department and the Department of Communication Systems, this new school is a multi-million pound centre for study and research in the fields of computer science, ICT and communications engineering.
Housed in the iconic InfoLab21 building the School offers science and engineering degrees with internationally renowned academic staff.
A pioneering partnership between a resident company of InfoLab21, The Networking People (TNP), and Blackpool Council will enable up to six North West local authorities to benefit from a compliant, secure, high-capacity broadband network independent from national telecoms companies. Read more

Security Lancaster and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics held a workshop to form a new collaborative group who will widen the knowledge of cybercrime and start developing innovative approaches to obtaining information on cyber criminals. The workshop included security researchers and statisticians, solicitors specialising in cybercrime, and experts from government agencies. Read more
