UK Young Coastal Scientists and Engineers Conference
Thu 26 - Sat 28 March 2009
Lancaster University
UK research in coastal physical processes is conducted by geographers, marine geologists, oceanographers, engineers and marine scientists at Universities, governmental institutions and companies all around UK. The aim of the annual Young Coastal Scientists and Engineers conferences is to promote an integrated UK coastal research community and encourage exchange of different research approaches and methods.
This fifth YCSEC builds on the success of the previous conferences held in Nottingham, Southampton, Plymouth and Oxford. It will bring together young researchers (post-docs and research students) and practitioners from different disciplines, who are concerned with physical coastal processes or work at the interface between physical and ecological processes and water quality.
