This free event run by the Engineering Department at Lancaster University in conjunction with Lancaster University's Careers Service, is a sector-specific fair aimed solely at students from the Engineering Department at Lancaster, who are looking for graduate opportunities, as well as those looking for an industrial placement year or short project.

The Fair will take place on Thursday 22nd March between 1pm and 3pm. Complimentary lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This unique showcase event will provide employers with the opportunity to visit one of the best broad-based University engineering centres with an exemplary record in innovative teaching, practical research and building close links with industry. Lancaster students undertake a wide range of courses around a common core of essentials frequently requested by employers. Engineering degrees at Lancaster provide both specific, technical knowledge aimed at defined sectors and skills of logical analysis, communication, and problem solving and project management essential across a wide range of careers. This makes Lancaster graduates particularly valuable and versatile as employees.

Students from all year groups and degree disciplines at Lancaster University can come along and find out what jobs are out there when they graduate, and what they need to do to get them.
