The Technology Strategy Board is launching the second round of its national Innovation Voucher scheme for businesses to work with an expert within a research organization for the first time.
This second round of funding, launched on the 14th December, will provide up to £5,000 for innovative projects for startup, micro, small and medium-sized businesses to gain knowledge from a research organization they have not worked with before to enable them to innovate, develop and grow. Submissions are invited in the following areas:
- built environment
- energy, water and waste
- space (this round only)
- open data innovators and inventors
This event will provide your business with an overview of the Technology Strategy Board's Innovation Voucher scheme and provide an opportunity to discuss project ideas with academics from Lancaster and other Northern Universities. There will also be information relating to other mechanisms for funding research and development, such as Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, Smart Awards and specific funding competitions.
