Big Bang 2011
Thu 10 - Sat 12 March 2011
ExCeL London
Staff and students from Lancaster University's Science and Technology departments will be heading to London in March 2011 for the Big Bang Science Fair.
The Big Bang is the UK's biggest single celebration of science and engineering for young people.
This year's event will be held at the ExCel Arena where organisers hope around 25,000 visitors will attend over three days.
Lancaster Scientists will offer visitors the chance to try their hand at a game of hoopla where the odds of winning might not be as good as they first look!
There will be an opportunity for students to race bikes against friends in an attempt to produce the most power.
Lancaster's new School of Computing and Communications will also be there, giving visitors the chance to try out an interactive computer display showcasing some of their latest research.
