Lancaster University has been identified by NERC as one of a number of institutions for a series of seminars to inform researchers on funding and partnership opportunities available to support knowledge exchange. The seminar will outline NERC's Environmental Monitoring Knowledge Exchange policy and provide an opportunity to pose questions which will focus on the following:

• What do we mean by Environmental Monitoring?
• NERC Knowledge Exchange strategy
• Support and funding for Knowledge Exchange projects

The seminar is open to Lancaster University staff and researchers. A sandwich lunch will be provided afterwards.

In addition to the Environmental Monitoring seminar, Nathan is available to discuss specific ideas for Knowledge Exchange activities with individuals or groups in short clinic sessions. All sorts of ideas are welcomed, from initial concepts to fully developed projects. The support offered will include signposting to appropriate networks, funds and other sources of support, as well as general commercially-oriented input. The 20-30 minute meetings will be undertaken in confidence.
